How To Easily Maintain your Weight While Losing Fat.

Unsightly belly fat can ruin your look, especially if you're happy with the rest of your body. Clothes that otherwise fit you are tight around the waistline, creating belly bulge and muffin tops that are hard to hide. But belly fat, sometimes called visceral abdominal fat, can also be dangerous for your health, increasing your risk for diabetes and heart disease, according to the Harvard Medical School Family Health Guide. The good news is that belly fat is highly responsive to exercise when performed at the right intensity. Adding resistance training will help you maintain your weight while losing fat.

Step 1:
Perform moderate to high-intensity cardio five to seven days per week, for 30 to 60 minutes per session. A 2008 study of middle-aged obese women, published in "Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise," compared the effects of low-intensity and moderate-to-high-intensity aerobic exercise on abdominal visceral fat. Participants exercised five days per week for 16 weeks. The moderate-to-high-intensity group, which alternated between walking and running, realized signifiant reductions in abdominal fat, while the low-intensity group saw no significant changes, even though both groups burned the same amount of calories per session.

Step 2:Intersperse short bursts of all-out intensity with longer bouts of moderate intensity. Interval training can lead to visceral abdominal fat loss over a shorter period of time. A 2011 review published in the "Journal of Obesity" found that high-intensity interval exercise had significant positive effects on reducing abdominal fat. Most of the studies reviewed used a stationary cycle with subjects exercising at moderate intensity for four minutes, then sprinting all-out for 30 seconds at a higher resistance. The bouts were typically repeated four to six times for a total of approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Step 3Engage in total-body resistance training on two to three non-consecutive days per week. Resistance exercise will help you maintain your weight while losing fat. In a 2012 study of young, overweight adults published in the "Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness," subjects who performed one weight training set of nine different exercises three times per week for six months increased their lean muscle mass and lowered their body fat percentage without losing weight.

Step 4
Eat a healthy diet. There is a saying that you can't out-train a bad diet, and it holds a lot of weight. Get rid of junk food, sugary drinks and snacks, and processed foods. Eat plenty of whole fresh fruits and vegetables and lean meats. Stay hydrated by drinking plain fresh water

*Warnings:

If you are a novice exerciser, begin slowly and gradually work your way up to higher intensity levels.
To learn to use weights safely and correctly, seek guidance from a fitness professional.

*Tips:

A convenient way to monitor your exercise intensity is to use a 10-point rating of perceived exertion, or RPE scale. The Cleveland Clinic explains that RPE ranks your level of effort on a zero-to-10 scale, with zero being no effort at all and 10 being extremely difficult. On this scale, moderate intensity would rate a three to four, while high intensity would be rated higher than five.

*Things You'll Need:
>>Supportive athletic shoes
>>Resistance training equipment.

The Best Supplements to Improve Your Metabolism and Spur Fat Loss

You can eat affordable portions and put in reasonable workouts at the gym, and you may shed fat while you do it.

How? It all comes down to eating the right combination of foods–foods that will shift your body out of fat-storage mode and into the fat-melting mode. Particular nutrients and vitamins can actually help flip an interior switch that signals cells during your body to burn up more calories, wasting a lot of those calories as high temperature. Without this important nutrition, the opposite happens. The body holds onto unwanted fat. Your metabolism slows as well as your weight-loss efforts become a fitness in futility.

Also, you need to know that the FDA provides cracked down on some fat loss supplements that had prescription medications in them that weren’t noted on the label. You can’t generally tell what you’re getting.
The FDA does regulate health supplements, nonetheless, it treats them like foods instead of medications. Unlike drug producers, the makers of products don’t need to show their items are secure or effective before offering them on the market.
Here are a few common ingredients within over-the-counter supplements and herbal treatments for weight loss.

10 Best Supplements for Weight Loss

#1-B12

Whether you obtain it in tablet form or seeing that a pricey injection at each day spa, don’t expect supplement B12 to improve your metabolism and spur fat loss. Your body desires B12 to nourish nerve and bloodstream cell function, as well as to produce DNA.
Your best bet so you can get the two 2.4 micrograms you will need a time? Integrate B12 right into a healthy, lean diet program. Have fortified whole-grain cereal for breakfast, a tuna sandwich or salad for lunch time, and snack on low-extra fat yogurt. If you’re a lover of beef liver or clams, those pack the most B12.

2-Fish Oil:

Fish Oil (also known as omega 3s) has gotten a whole lot of press lately due to its benefits. Omega 3 fish essential oil may donate to healthy weight administration, by assisting in promoting the rate of metabolism of fat molecules and cholesterol, while also aiding the disease fighting capability and protecting nerve and mind cells from oxidative tension and damage.* Fish oil could also help out with joint mobility and versatility, enhancing exercise efficiency, endurance, and recovery, which might ultimately help us to attain our weight management goals.

3-Magnesium

One major perk of the nutrient is its capability to relax muscles, maintain you relaxed, and promote peaceful sleep, which alone is a huge component of earning any diet plan work. Based on the National Institutes of Wellness, magnesium is necessary for more than 300 chemical substance reactions in your body, including keeping the center rhythm stable, regulating blood sugar, and helping lower blood circulation pressure. Some research also shows that an increased magnesium intake can decrease the risk of a colon tumor, and many studies have shown that magnesium may help treat such conditions as osteoporosis, PMS, migraines, depression, and more.
In addition to those health benefits, magnesium can also aid in weight loss and body shaping. A 2013 study in the Journal of Nutrition found that higher magnesium intake was associated with lower levels of fasting glucose and insulin (markers related to fat and weight gain), and one study from England found that a magnesium supplement may have some beneficial effects on reducing fluid retention during the menstrual cycle, helping to alleviate unwanted tummy bloat. The recommended quantity of magnesium for ladies under 30 can be 310 milligrams, and 320 for ladies over 30. You’ll discover magnesium in lots of foods, including leafy vegetables, beans, and nuts. Health supplements in pill or powder type are also accessible at health food shops. Try drinking tepid to warm water with a tablespoon of magnesium powder every evening before bed: This assists you rest soundly and stay reducing bloat, discomfort and regular.

4-Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA)

This one includes its share of possible unwanted effects, but the potential benefits appear to outweigh them. Studies show promising outcomes in this helping with coronary disease, general inflammation of your body, migraines, dysfunction of the organs, staving off Alzheimer’s, aging worries, and erectile dysfunction.
Getting your internal organs and cardiovascular systems to operate more properly is a big boost to your bodyweight loss efforts, and any additional side benefits are simply icing on the cake. Make sure to check with your doctor before starting out on this to see if there are any contraindications you should be aware of.

5-Vitamin D

Study after study shows that vitamin D helps to ensure body cells listen and respond to insulin, a hormone secreted by your pancreas. One of its jobs is to help glucose get into body cells, which burn glucose for energy. How well insulin pushes glucose into cells is called, “insulin sensitivity." The more sensitive your cells are to insulin, the better. The less sensitive they are to insulin, the more likely the calories you eat will end up in your fat cells.
When levels of D are low, levels of parathyroid hormone (PTH) rise. Higher than normal levels of PTH trigger a series of reactions that eventually lead to fat cells converting sugar into fat and hoarding fats instead of releasing it to end up being burned, clarifies Michael B. Zemel, Ph.D., director of the Diet Institute at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Too little vitamin D may also hinder leptin, a hormone that signals the human brain to stop eating. The body doesn’t know if it is full, so you continue steadily to eat.

6- Omega 3s:

There is insufficient evidence to tout omega-3s for weight loss, based on the Mayo Clinic. Including seafood in your healthy diet is a great part of your weight-loss technique, provided the seafood isn’t fried. Try broiling or baking it instead.

Rich in omega-3s, which might help controls blood clotting and build brain cell membranes, a 3.5-ounce serving of seafood also may dish up security to help defend against cardiovascular disease and stroke.

How To Eliminate Excess Body Fat In Healthy way

Losing stomach and face fat changes your appearance -- and improves your health. The body deposits excess calories as fat in a layer under the skin called "subcutaneous fat." The fat on the stomach, abdominal fat, includes both subcutaneous fat and the most dangerous fat on your body, visceral fat. This fat blankets your organs and can harm your health. A combination of cardio, strength training and a sensible diet can eliminate excess body fat, the American Council on Fitness advises. As you reduce overall body fat, your stomach and face become slimmer.

•Step 3

Engage in core training most days of the week. Include crunches, planks, side planks and leg raises to strengthen your abdominal muscles -- the obliques, rectus abdominis and transversus abdominis -- and your back. Strengthening your ab muscles can firm the midsection, so it looks tighter once the extra fat is lost; and a strong core can help you hold your belly in/improve your posture.

•Step 4

Cut down on your calorie intake. A calorie deficit is needed to lose weight. Use monounsaturated fats in your diet in place of saturated fats. Substitute one-fourth of an avocado mashed on whole-grain bread for mayonnaise. Use olive oil instead of creamy salad dressings, and nuts or nut butters instead of cheese or butter. A diet rich in monounsaturated fat can help prevent and reduce abdominal fat, according to researchers who published their findings in the March 2007 "Journal of Diabetes Care." Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole-grain breads and pastas and low-fat dairy products.

÷ Warnings:

Talk to your doctor about your weight and health concerns.

•Tips:

Dark chocolate, olives and nuts contain monounsaturated fatty acids. Like olive oil and avocado, they are high in calories. Eat them in moderation. Cut down on saturated fats and trans fats for heart health and to avoid consuming too much fat.

Performing cardio and training large muscle groups with squats, lunges, dead lifts and bench presses can help you lose abdominal and face fat by burning overall body fat. A gradual weight loss of up to 2 lbs. a week increases your odds of keeping off the excess weight. Setting goals and tracking your progress with a food and exercise journal can help you make long-term improvements in diet and fitness.

How To Lose Belly Fat at Any Age.

How many times have you been told that middle age spread the weight gain that comes with hitting 40 and beyond is unavoidable? Well, next time someone starts going on about the inevitable metabolic slowdown, know this: You can turn the ship around. It's not even that hard.

Metabolic slowdown is a real thing. It's due to your muscle mass declining by up to eight percent each decade after age 30 and up to 10 percent after the big 5-0. "You lose about a half pound of lean muscle every year in your twenties, thirties, and forties, and once you hit your fifties, you lose roughly a pound a year," says Wayne Westcott, Ph.D., an exercise physiologist at Quincy College in Boston. Although researchers aren't exactly sure how this happens, the leading theory is that your body starts breaking down muscle at a faster rate than it can build it back up again. Muscle is metabolically active, so your metabolism slows as it declines.

So what do you think might reverse the trend? That's right, more muscle!

Research shows that lifting weights twice a week for 25 minutes will get you the additional brawn to keep your metabolism humming. One study done by Westcott of more than 1,600 people between the ages of 21 and 80 showed a muscle gain of around 3.1 pounds after 10 weeks of resistance training twice a week. "That's the equivalent of reversing about six years of aging," says Westcott. The subjects did one set of 12 different exercises, using a high enough weight that they fatigued after eight to 12 reps. Best part is, it didn't matter whether they were 25 or 75, there were similar results across all age groups. We're sold!

The Truth About Belly Fat everything you need to know

Even if you have a rock-hard pack of abs, you still have belly fat. And how much flab you have around your middle has a big impact on your health.

Here’s help getting a handle on your belly fat.

* Location, Location, Location:

People store most of their fat in two ways – one you can see and one you can't.

The fat you can see is just under the skin in the thighs, hips, buttocks, and abdomen. That's called subcutaneous (under the skin) fat.

The fat you can't see is deeper inside, around the vital organs (heart, lungs, digestive tract, liver, and so on) in the chest, abdomen, and pelvis. That's called "visceral" fat.

Many people are self-conscious about the fat they can see. But actually, it's the hidden fat -- the visceral fat -- that may be a bigger problem, even for thin people.

*Like Another Organ

We all have visceral fat -- and it isn't all bad. It provides necessary cushioning around organs.

But, the fat doesn't just sit there. It makes "lots of nasty substances," says Kristen Hairston, MD, assistant professor of endocrinology and metabolism at Wake Forest School of Medicine. And having too much of it is linked to a greater chance of developing high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, dementia, and certain cancers, including breast cancer and colon cancer.

*How You Get Extra Visceral Fat:

When a body's obese, it can run out of safe places to store fat and begin storing it in and around the organs, such as around the heart and the liver.

What kind of problem does that create? Carol Shively, PhD, professor of pathology-comparative medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine, says, “Fatty liver disease was, until recently, very rare in non-alcoholics. But with obesity increasing, you have people whose fat depots are so full that the fat is deposited into the organs. In addition, she says, more fat is also being deposited around the heart.

*Checking Your Risk:

The most precise way to determine how much visceral fat you have is to get a CT scan or MRI. But you don't need to go that far to get a sense of whether or not the fat inside you is putting your health at risk.

Get a measuring tape, wrap it around your waist, and check your girth. Do it while you're standing up, and make sure the tape measure is level.

For the minimal effect on your health, you want your waist size to be less than 35 inches if you're a woman and less than 40 inches if you're a man.

Having a "pear shape" -- fatter hips and thighs -- is considered safer than an "apple shape," which describes a wider waistline.

“What we’re really pointing to with the apple versus pear,” Hairston says, "is that, if you have more abdominal fat, it’s probably an indicator that you have more visceral fat."

*Thin People Have It, Too:

But even if you're thin, you can still have too much visceral fat.

It's partly about your genes. Some people have a genetic tendency to store visceral fat.

It's also about physical activity. Visceral fat likes inactivity. A British study showed that thin people who maintain their weight through diet alone, skipping exercise, are more likely to have unhealthy levels of visceral fat.

So the message is get active, no matter what size you are.

The best weight loss tricks that enhance your metabolism and burn fat

Hence, we are not referring to any crazy strict diets or odd intense workouts.

1. Opt for green tea :

Green tea is not only famous for its cancer-fighting benefits: it can enhance your metabolism, as well. According to recent studies, people who used to drink 3 cups of green tea every day had their metabolic rate increased by 4%. This is due to catechins, which are thought to raise the levels of the norepinephrine, a metabolism-speeding brain compound.

2. Weight training:

It is the best weight loss technique to burn calories fast. It increases your resting metabolic rate, meaning your metabolism remains “active” for up to two hours after you`ve completed your daily workout routine.

3. Consume foods containing iron:

If you don`t have enough iron, your body cannot get enough oxygen to your cells, thus your metabolism is slowed down. Opt for red meat, chicken, or soy nuts.

4. Check your thyroid:

The thyroid gland is in charge of your metabolism. So one of the signs that something is wrong your thyroid is that you cannot lose weight. If you have some doubts in this regard, the best weight loss advice would be to go to your doctor for a blood test to check on your thyroid gland.

5. Avoid alcohol:

Alcohol slows down your metabolism by lowering your central nervous system. Some studies have shown that when consumed together with high-calorie meals, alcohol leads to a reduced level of dietary fat burning, more fat being stored as body fat.

6. Eat fish:
Those who regularly eat fish tend to have lower levels of the hormone leptin. High levels of leptin are associated with slow metabolism and obesity. Include salmon, tuna, or mackerel into your diet to get the best weight loss results.

7. Reduce your stress level:

Some studies show that stress may contribute to abdominal fat. When you are stressed, the cortisol hormone stimulates your appetite, slows your metabolism down, and promotes fat storage around your abdomen area. Find activities that are thought to reduce your stress, such as listening to music, taking yoga classes, or gardening.

How to Speed Up Metabolism & Melt More Fat In Less Time

1 - Aerobic High Intensity Interval Make (HIIT):

Studies show that aerobic short duration and high intensity results in increased fat burning than standard aerobic made with low intensity and long duration. Research also shows that this type of aerobic saves more muscle mass than spend an hour on the treadmill at the pace of a turtle.

To increase metabolism and burn more fat, replace the aerobic mode by HIIT, doing sessions 20 to 30 minutes on the same days you did before. For those who do not know, HIIT works like this:
Start aerobic with 2-3 minutes of heating using low intensity.

And then run with all possible speed for 30-60 seconds (if you have never done before HIIT, do 30, but look strive to reach 60).

Now, lower the intensity to recover at the same time he was in high intensity. If you ran with it for 30 seconds, stay low intensity at the same time. At first you will have to recover any longer, but seek rest the correct time.

Repeat this procedure for low and high intensity for a total time of 20 to 30 minutes.

Finally make a "cool-down" 2-3 minutes on low intensity.
speed up metabolism

You can apply the type of aerobic HIIT you see fit. You can go to the street walking and running, cycling slowly and fast, using the treadmill, a stationary bicycle, elliptical, is up to you ...

2 - heavy Train:

Among the many benefits of heavy training, it also helps in burning fat.
A study published in Greece (6) found that men who trained heavyweight (using 80-85% of its maximum load in exercises) increased the speed of metabolism for up to three days in a row, burning hundreds of calories more than men who trained with lightweight.

With this in mind, bury the concept that to burn fat you need to train using pesinhos and many repetitions. To speed up the metabolism, train heavy with low reps and if you want a bonus, give emphasis on compound exercises like squats, deadlifts and bench press, which are movements that burn more calories after the workout.

3 - Avoid Resting For Consecutive Days:

Stand by and do exercises followed by two days or more can decrease the metabolic rate.

Instead of training 5 consecutive days and rest on the weekend, try creating a gap during the week and train on Saturday. The division is irrelevant, the important thing is to avoid getting more than one day off.

4 - Separate Aerobic Training:

Rather than train hard for an hour and still do 30 minutes of aerobic soon then separate them. Train before work in the morning and evening make aerobic or vice versa.

This division in addition to "pumping" your metabolism twice during the day, keeping it constantly high, also preserve muscle mass.

5 - Eat Spicy Foods Red Pepper:

Spices such as red pepper and cayenne can discreetly increase your metabolic rate, thus helping in burning fat. Not to mention that pepper goes great with chicken, red meat and even vegetables, which makes it perfect to leave a little more enjoyable diet.

6 - Don't  Drink Calories:

Liquid calories are a disaster when you are trying to burn fat. They are very easy to consume even when we have no appetite, do not satisfy hunger, are often full of sugar and leave their high insulin (which can make you store more fat)

Instead of drinking juices, soft drinks, sweetened teas, etc .. keep up with the good old water, sweetened teas with Stevia, unsweetened coffee or other drinks with no calories.

Final words
If you are trying to burn fat and are having trouble, try to incorporate all the above tips into your routine. As long as your diet is correct, to speed up the metabolism, your body will have no choice but to melt more fat.

6 Shocking Foods That Destroy Belly Fat Fast

Belly fat affects your physical appearance and poses harmful health risks. Visceral belly fat, the type that lies deep within your abdominal cavity, increases your risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, according to “Harvard Women’s Health Watch.” Moderate physical activity and a diet low in calories, saturated fats and refined carbohydrates can help combat belly fat. Consuming certain foods also can help fight excess abdominal fat.
6 Shocking Foods That Destroy Belly Fat Fast

1- Whole Grains:

Your body digests whole grains slower than refined grains due to the higher amount of fiber contained in whole grains. This helps you feel full longer, eat less and keep your insulin levels low and steady. These benefits are believed to shrink belly fat cells, according to CBS News. A study published in "The Journal of Nutrition" in March 2009 found that increasing dietary fiber consumption helps decrease weight and fat gain. Whole grains, such as brown rice, quinoa, oatmeal and whole wheat bread, should make up at least half of your daily grain intake, according to the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

2- Avocados:

Avocados contain high amounts of monounsaturated fat, a type of fat that has several health benefits. Like whole grains, it reduces blood sugar and insulin spikes, which normally trigger your body to store excess abdominal fat.

3- Low-fat and Non-fat Dairy:

Dairy products such as low-fat yogurt and skim milk have an optimal combination of carbohydrates and protein to stabilize insulin levels. In addition, yogurt often contains probiotics that keep your digestive system healthy and decrease stomach bloating.

4- Nuts:

Similar to avocados, nuts contain high amounts of healthy unsaturated fats that may help control blood sugar levels. Certain nuts, such as almonds, contain significant amounts of magnesium, a mineral necessary for maintaining steady blood sugar levels.

5- Citrus Fruits:

The vitamin C in citrus fruits may help you burn up to 30 percent more fat during exercise, according to CBS News, making these fruits good choices for a pre-workout snack.

6- Soy:

Soybeans contain fiber, antioxidants and protein. Snacking on soy products keeps you feeling satisfied longer while their nutrients control insulin and blood sugar levels.
